Zero Legacy Press wants everyone to be able to read and use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, or screen magnification.

What we aim for

We build this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That standard is also the basis of accessibility law in Ontario and in many other places.

What we do

• Text and background colours are chosen to meet contrast requirements.
• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, and a “Skip to content” link appears when you press Tab.
• Images carry text descriptions.
• Pages use proper headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them.
• Text stays readable when you zoom in or use a small screen.

Where we may fall short

Some content is hosted by other companies, such as the book sample reader. We do not control how those services are built, and they may not meet the same standard.
