Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what information Zero Legacy Press collects through zerolegacypress.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Zero Legacy Press is operated from Ontario, Canada.
What we collect
- Information you give us. If you fill in our contact form, we collect your name, email address, the reason you are reaching out, and your message.
- Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site. It collects things like pages viewed, approximate location, device type and browser. We do not use it to identify you personally.
- Reservation details. If you reserve a copy of ZERO LEGACY, we collect your name, email address, and optionally your company, role, country and how many copies you are interested in.
Why we collect it
We use your contact details only to reply to you. We use analytics only to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site.
Our lawful basis
Where UK or EU data protection law applies to you, we rely on your consent as our lawful basis for processing reservation details. You give that consent by ticking the box on the reservation form. You can withdraw it at any time by contacting us, and withdrawing it will not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
How long we keep it
We keep reservation details until the book has launched and we have told you it is available, and for up to twelve months after that in case you get in touch about your order. Contact form messages are kept for as long as we need them to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a mailing list from a contact form submission.
Other companies involved
Some services we use process data on our behalf: our web host, Google Analytics, and the third-party reader that hosts the free book sample. Each has its own privacy policy.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask for a copy of it. If you reserved a copy, you can ask to be taken off the list at any time and we will remove you. You can also block analytics using your browser settings or a browser extension. Contact us using our contact page.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
